We were frustrated with outdated and ineffective compliance techniques that failed to protect companies and their clients. We were fed up with compliance programs that were little more than a ‘tick box’ exercise. And, we knew growing businesses were just as frustrated.
We knew that cyber security and data privacy compliance needed a massive shake-up. Traditional compliance frameworks are built around one day of the year: the annual audit. Then, for the other 364 days of the year, employees are confused, and companies are non-compliant.
Compliance needed to evolve from dry, paper-based policy manuals left gathering dust in a desk drawer, into an engaging education-based program designed to arm individuals with the cyber skills they needed to protect their businesses, clients, employers, and themselves.
And so, de.iterate was born.
Over the next few years, we re-built compliance from the ground up. We created a platform firmly focused on the real-world, practical applications of compliance. We consciously avoided the pitfalls commonly associated with the technology-first compliance implementations and focused on helping businesses implement sustainable processes that work for them…
de.iterate went ‘live’ in July 2022 with our easy-to-use, interactive, all-in-one online policy manual employee training platform and compliance calendar.

With over 20 years’ experience, Andrew is a passionate information and cyber security leader. Andrew’s expertise spans risk, governance, compliance, strategy, critical infrastructure security, and technology management and architecture.
Andrew started his career in the world of data networking and system administration, before jetting off to Europe where he worked with Japanese telco giant KDDI, and looked after a rolling communications network for Honda F1 racing.
Returning home to Australia, he tackled network operations for Credit Suisse, managed security for Commonwealth Bank, and then oversaw the Australian and New Zealand network for Deutsche Bank. From there, Andrew moved into the fin tech sector, taking on infrastructure service manager positions, before moving into CIO roles at top tech firms.
In 2020, Andrew struck out on his own, founding Secureroo. Secureroo takes the guesswork out of cyber security with its user-friendly governance, risk and compliance services. He founded de.iterate in 2021.

Riley joined the de.iterate team in 2021, bringing more than five years of experience to his role as lead software developer. He has a strong background in software development methodologies, tools and technologies, including programming languages Java, HTML, CSS, Firebase, Cloud Firestore, Node.js and Swift.
With a passion for innovation and emerging technologies like Web3, Blockchain and AI, Riley stays up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the industry. His dedication and technical know-how are a key ingredient of de.iterate’s success.
Riley also flexes his technical know-how in his own businesses, Access Labs, which helps organisations design, build and deploy secure and decentralised blockchain systems. Prior to joining de.iterate, Riley founded Webb IT Solutions, a computer networking, installation maintenance and repair company.
